Overview
Bluebird completed a commercial fire alarm repair and panel replacement after an existing C-Tec control panel developed an internal fault. The new unit was installed, existing wiring was transferred, and the detectors, call points and sounders were fully tested.
Challenge
Ongoing fire alarm faults were traced to an internal fault in the existing C-Tec fire alarm control panel. The panel needed to be replaced carefully while retaining the existing system wiring and confirming that connected devices operated correctly.
Solution
Bluebird replaced the faulty C-Tec fire alarm control panel and transferred the existing wiring to the new unit. Detectors, manual call points and sounders were then tested across the system as part of the commercial fire alarm servicing visit.
Outcome
The system was left operational and fault free following the C-Tec fire alarm panel replacement and full system testing. The work restored reliable operation while preserving the existing wiring and checking the connected detection and alarm devices.
