Overview
Bluebird completed an alarm system upgrade, replacing an ageing Scantronic 9651 with a Texecom Premier Elite 24. Texecom SmartCom was added for app control and remote access, alongside a new external sounder for a modern residential intruder alarm system.
Challenge
The ageing Scantronic 9651 system needed modernising to support more reliable day-to-day protection and convenient remote access. The upgrade also needed to retain a clear visible deterrent at the property.
Solution
Bluebird replaced the Scantronic 9651 with a Texecom Premier Elite 24 and added Texecom SmartCom for app control and remote access. A new external sounder was installed as part of the completed Texecom alarm system upgrade.
Outcome
The completed residential intruder alarm upgrade provides modern control through SmartCom, with remote access alongside dependable alarm operation. The Texecom Premier Elite 24 and new external sounder improve the system’s usability, reliability and visible deterrence.
