Overview
Bluebird completed a residential intruder alarm upgrade, replacing an ageing alarm system with a Texecom Premier Elite 24 and Texecom SmartCom for app control, notifications and remote access. Old detectors were replaced with Pyronix KX15 sensors and a new external sounder was fitted.
Challenge
The existing alarm system needed modernising to improve reliability and detection while providing more convenient control. The upgrade also needed to support notifications and remote access, alongside the visible deterrence of a new external sounder.
Solution
Bluebird installed a Texecom Premier Elite 24 with Texecom SmartCom, enabling alarm app control, notifications and remote access. The old detectors were replaced with Pyronix KX15 sensors to support improved detection, and a new external sounder was fitted as part of the residential security upgrade.
Outcome
The completed Texecom alarm upgrade provides more modern residential security with improved control, clearer notifications and remote access through SmartCom. Updated Pyronix KX15 detection and the new external sounder support reliable operation, improved detection and visible deterrence.
